Javier Guerra Moreno

Javi Guerra, born Javier Guerra Moreno in Gilet on 13 May 2003, is a Spanish central midfielder. He developed at Villarreal, spending eight years there before joining Valencia’s academy in 2019. Guerra signed his first professional contract with Valencia in May 2021 and gained senior experience with Valencia II, making 49 appearances. He made his Valencia first-team debut in the Copa del Rey in January 2022. In April 2023, Guerra scored a stoppage-time winner against Real Valladolid after coming on as a substitute. He followed that breakthrough with an 88th-minute winner against Sevilla on Valencia’s opening day of the 2023–24 season. At 1.87 metres, Javi Guerra combines central-midfield duties with ball carrying and pressing. He has also represented Spain at under-21 level.
