Javier Galán Gil

Javi Galán is a Spanish left-back born in Badajoz on 19 November 1994. He developed with CD San Roque Badajoz, CP Don Bosco and CP Flecha Negra before joining CD Badajoz in 2013. Galán made his senior debut that year in Spain’s Regional Preferente, then moved to Córdoba CF in 2015, initially playing for the reserve side. During the 2017–18 season, Córdoba converted him from winger to left-back, a change that brought his pace and carrying into a deeper role. He joined SD Huesca in January 2019 and helped the club win the Segunda División title in 2019–20. After moving to Celta Vigo in 2021, Galán signed for Atlético Madrid in 2023, where competition limited his appearances. He subsequently spent part of 2024 on loan at Real Sociedad and is currently associated with Celta Vigo.
