James Santos das Neves

James Santos das Neves is a Brazilian left-back born in Foz do Iguaçu on 5 February 1995. Left-footed and standing 1.72 metres tall, he has built his senior career primarily in Armenia. James represented Alashkert, including during the club’s 2021/22 UEFA Champions League qualifying campaign. He later joined Pyunik Yerevan, beginning one of several spells with the club and establishing himself in Armenian top-flight football. His career has also included further movement among Armenian clubs, while his strongest honours came with Pyunik and FC Noah, with whom he won league titles and the Armenian Cup. James returned to Pyunik in January 2026 and is listed with the Yerevan club. Operating mainly on the left, he offers defensive positioning, width and support in build-up, with the versatility to function as a wing-back.
