Joseph Adrian Worrall

Joseph Adrian Worrall is an English centre-back born in Nottingham on 10 January 1997. He joined Nottingham Forest’s academy in 2011 after playing for local sides and progressed through the club’s youth teams, captaining both the under-18s and under-23s. In January 2016, Worrall spent time on loan at Dagenham & Redbridge before making his Forest first-team debut against Reading in October that year. He later captained England Under-20s to victory in the 2017 Toulon Tournament. A loan to Rangers in 2018–19 brought 32 appearances and European experience, while Worrall remained closely associated with Forest. During the 2021–22 campaign, he helped Forest win promotion to the Premier League through the Championship play-offs and was named in the division’s Team of the Season. Worrall moved to Beşiktaş in February 2024 and joined Burnley in August that year, continuing his career as a tall, organizing defender.
