Jari Vandeputte

Jari Vandeputte is a Belgian midfielder born in Gent on 14 February 1996. He developed at Gent and made his senior debut there before gaining experience on loan at Roeselare and FC Eindhoven. Vandeputte also represented Belgium at under-17 and under-19 level. In 2017, he moved to Italy with Viterbese, where he helped win the Coppa Italia Serie C in 2018–19. He joined Vicenza Virtus in 2019 and contributed to the club’s promotion to Serie B. After moving to Catanzaro, Vandeputte became an important creative outlet and contributed 11 goals during their 2022–23 Serie C promotion campaign. In 2023–24, he recorded nine goals and 13 assists in Serie B, before joining Cremonese and producing five goals and 14 assists in the following season. As a midfielder, Jari is noted for crossing, set-piece delivery and chance creation, while also operating from the left.
