Jošt Urbančič

Jošt Urbančič is a Slovenian defender who operates primarily on the left side. Born on April 12, 2001, he developed in Olimpija Ljubljana’s academy before continuing his progression through NK Domžale’s youth system. He helped Domžale win the Slovenian Under-19 league in 2020/21, then moved into senior football and made his PrvaLiga debut for the club in 2019. Urbančič later joined ND Gorica, where he contributed to the side’s promotion after its 2021/22 second-tier title. In January 2023, he transferred to Viking FK in Norway, gaining experience in the Eliteserien. He returned to Olimpija Ljubljana in 2025, bringing experience from abroad back to his former academy club. Jošt Urbančič has also reached the Slovenia national team, marking a further step in his development.
