Jeremy Isaiah Richard Toljan

Jeremy Isaiah Richard Toljan is a German defender who operates primarily at right-back and can cover the opposite flank. Born in Stuttgart in 1994, he developed with SV Grün-Weiss Sommerrain, Stuttgarter Kickers and VfB Stuttgart before joining 1899 Hoffenheim in 2011. Toljan made his Bundesliga debut for Hoffenheim against Mainz in October 2013 and established himself as an energetic full-back during a four-year senior spell. His development was also reflected in Germany youth football, as he won Olympic silver in 2016 and the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 2017, earning selection for the tournament’s team. In 2017, Toljan moved to Borussia Dortmund, then spent 2019 on loan at Celtic, where he was part of a domestic-treble-winning side. He continued with Sassuolo, first on loan and later permanently, before joining Levante in 2025, adding Italian and Spanish chapters to a career built on flank coverage and forward running.
