Jean-Clair Dimitri Roger Todibo

Jean-Clair Dimitri Roger Todibo is a French defender who developed from a midfield prospect into a centre-back. Born in Cayenne, French Guiana, he began at FC Les Lilas before joining Toulouse at 16, where coaches changed his position. After making only 10 senior appearances for Toulouse, Todibo moved to Barcelona in January 2019. He later spent brief loan spells with Schalke 04 and Benfica; at Schalke, he was voted the fans’ Player of the Month, while he made no league appearance for Benfica. A move to Nice in 2021 gave him regularity, and he became a defensive leader, later captaining the side and receiving his first senior France caps in late 2023. In 2024, Jean-Clair Todibo joined West Ham, continuing his career in the Premier League.
