Jurriën David Norman Timber

Jurriën David Norman Timber is a Dutch centre-back from Utrecht. He developed at Ajax, where he progressed through the academy before making his senior debut in March 2020. Timber helped Ajax win two Eredivisie titles and was named both Eredivisie Player of the Year and Talent of the Year in 2022. At youth level, he represented the Netherlands and won the 2018 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. Arsenal signed Timber in July 2023, and he was named Man of the Match in the Community Shield victory over Manchester City. His Premier League debut against Nottingham Forest was cut short by an ACL injury, but he returned on the final day of the 2023–24 season. At Arsenal, Timber has operated as a defender who can contribute from the right side, combining defensive awareness with composed distribution.
