Jiří Spáčil

Jiří Spáčil is a Czech midfielder developed by Sigma Olomouc, where he has spent his senior career. Born on 11 February 1999, Spáčil joined the club’s academy in 2005 and remained in its youth system through 2018. He continued his development with youth-team football before moving on loan to 1.SK Prostějov for the 2020/21 season, making 23 appearances in the Czech National Football League. Returning to Sigma in June 2021, he combined leadership for Sigma Olomouc B with opportunities in the first team. His role developed from a more box-to-box position into a deeper central or defensive-midfield role focused on distribution, ball recovery and positional discipline. Spáčil has also featured for Sigma in UEFA Conference League matches. He remains part of Sigma Olomouc’s squad, with his contract reported to run until June 2028.
