Jordan Clifford Smith

Jordan Clifford Smith is an English goalkeeper who developed at Nottingham Forest after joining the academy in 2001, aged seven. He initially played as a striker before a youth goalkeeping opportunity led Forest to scout him. Smith gained senior experience in non-league football, making more than 100 appearances for Ilkeston and Nuneaton Town across loan spells between 2014 and 2016. He made his Nottingham Forest first-team debut as a substitute against Norwich City on 11 February 2017, then started 15 matches that season. On the final day, his saves against Ipswich Town helped Forest win 3-0 and avoid relegation, and he went on to make 32 appearances in 2017–18. After leaving Forest in 2023 and spending a period with Stockport County, Smith joined Hibernian in July 2024. At Hibernian, he has featured in European qualifying matches, including a 1-1 draw with Midtjylland, and remains part of the club’s goalkeeping group.
