Josip Silić

Josip Silić is a Croatian footballer who developed in his native country’s domestic game. Born on 16 December 1999, he spent part of his youth with Adriatic Split before joining NK Dugopolje’s youth setup in August 2015. Silić later progressed into senior football with Dugopolje, making 27 appearances in Croatia’s second tier. His 2021/22 campaign provided an important platform as he continued to establish himself. In February 2023, he moved to NK Varaždin and stepped into Croatia’s top flight. At Varaždin, Silić has featured mainly as a backup or rotation option while receiving opportunities in the Croatian Cup. He remains part of the Varaždin squad, continuing a career shaped by patient development and progression through the Croatian divisions.
