Japhet Sery Larsen

Japhet Sery Larsen is a Danish defender who developed through Copenhagen youth football before joining Lyngby BK and later FC Midtjylland’s academy. At Midtjylland, he won consecutive U19 Ligaen titles in 2017–18 and 2018–19, then gained senior experience and spent 2019 on loan with Brentford B. He moved to SK Brann in July 2021, later joining Bodø/Glimt in February 2022. Japhet Sery Larsen returned to Brann in January 2023, becoming part of the side that won the 2023 Norwegian Cup and recorded two successive Eliteserien runner-up finishes. During that spell, he also gained European experience in the Europa League and Champions League qualifying rounds. In January 2026, he joined the Philadelphia Union, beginning a new chapter in Major League Soccer. He has been used primarily as a center-back, though his mobility allows him to cover full-back positions when required. At international level, he represented Denmark from under-16 through under-21.
