Jenson Seelt
Jenson Seelt is a Dutch centre-back born in Ede on 23 May 2003. He developed at PSV Eindhoven after joining the club from NEC Nijmegen in 2017, and signed his first professional contract in 2019. Seelt progressed through Jong PSV, where he made 63 appearances, scored seven goals and captained the side. Standing 1.92 metres tall, he offers a strong aerial presence and has been used as a right-sided or central defender. In June 2023, Sunderland signed Jenson Seelt from PSV, giving him his first opportunity in English football. He made his full league debut for Sunderland in November 2023, but a knee injury suffered against Southampton in March 2024 required surgery and a lengthy recovery. Seelt remains a Sunderland defender, continuing his development through the demands of senior football.
