Jorge Eduardo Sánchez Ramos

Jorge Eduardo Sánchez Ramos is a Mexican right-back from Torreón. He developed at Santos Laguna and made his professional debut there in 2016, later helping the club win the Clausura 2018 title. In 2018, Sánchez joined Club América, where he established himself as a regular fullback before moving to Ajax in 2022. His European career also includes a loan spell with FC Porto, while Atlas is listed among his current squad references. Internationally, Sánchez helped Mexico win the bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and has represented the senior side at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Known for aggressive tackling, recovery runs and the ability to operate as a right-back or right wing-back, Jorge Sánchez combines defensive work with overlapping and short-passing play.
