Justin Roth

Justin Roth is a Swiss midfielder born in Thun on 29 October 2000. He developed in FC Thun’s youth system and progressed into the club’s senior side. Roth made his first senior appearances between 2019 and 2021, initially featuring during Thun’s time in the Swiss Super League. After the club’s relegation, he became a regular in the Challenge League, recording more than 2,400 minutes and four goals in the 2023/24 season. In 2024/25, Roth helped FC Thun win the Challenge League title and secure promotion back to Switzerland’s top flight. He operates mainly as a defensive midfielder, with the ability to move into central midfield and support build-up play. Roth remains with FC Thun, where his positioning and ball retention continue to shape the team’s midfield.
