Jakob Napoleon Romsaas

Jakob Napoleon Romsaas is a Norwegian midfielder who developed at Oslo club Skeid and signed his first professional contract there in 2021. He established himself in the Norwegian second tier, making 26 appearances and scoring eight goals during the 2022 season. In February 2023, Romsaas moved to Tromsø, stepping into Eliteserien football and adding goals in domestic and European competition. His standout continental moment came in the 2024 UEFA Conference League qualifying tie against Kilmarnock, when he scored both of Tromsø’s goals in the first leg. In July 2025, he transferred to Belgian side Charleroi, where he has featured as an attacking midfielder and in deeper central roles. Romsaas combines chance creation and forward movement with defensive work, including recoveries and tackles, and is involved with Norway’s under-21 team.
