Jeremy Michael Rafanello

Jeremy Michael Rafanello is an American midfielder from Delran Township, New Jersey, who developed in the Philadelphia Union Academy and attended YSC Academy. In 2017–18, he scored 23 goals in 25 USSDA matches and received a U.S. Under-19 call-up. Rafanello began his college career at Penn State in 2018, appearing in all 18 matches, scoring three goals and earning Big Ten All-Freshman honors. He turned professional with Danish club FC Helsingør in July 2019 before returning to the United States with Indy Eleven in 2020. A move to New York Red Bulls II in 2021 gave Rafanello a larger role, and he recorded 10 goals and six assists across two USL Championship seasons. The Philadelphia Union brought him back on a Homegrown contract in August 2022, and he made his MLS debut in 2023. Used as an attacking midfielder or left winger, Rafanello combines playmaking and ball progression with disciplined movement in rotation roles.
