Joaquín Nicolás Pereyra

Joaquín Nicolás Pereyra is an Argentine midfielder from Paraná, born on 1 December 1998. He developed at Rosario Central and made his professional debut in 2016, entering as a substitute in a 3–0 win over Colón. During five seasons with the club, Pereyra was part of the squad that won the 2017–18 Copa Argentina and played in the 2019 Copa Libertadores. He spent the 2020–21 season on loan at Portugal’s Famalicão before returning to Argentina. Pereyra then joined Atlético Tucumán, initially on loan and later permanently, becoming a regular creative presence in midfield. His versatility has seen him operate centrally, in an advanced No. 10 role or from the left, with passing and progression central to his game. In August 2024, Pereyra moved to Minnesota United, where he continues his career as a key midfielder.
