Juan José Perea Mendoza

Juan José Perea Mendoza is a Colombian forward born in Bogotá on 23 February 2000. He developed at Escofutuper before joining FC Porto’s youth system in 2018, where he made three UEFA Youth League appearances during the club’s 2018–19 title-winning campaign. Perea moved to Panathinaikos in 2019 and scored in a 3–2 derby win over AEK Athens that November. He later spent the 2020–21 season on loan at Volos, then joined PAS Giannina and scored 10 league goals in 32 matches during 2021–22. His performances earned a move to VfB Stuttgart in July 2022, although regular opportunities were limited. Perea subsequently played for Hansa Rostock on loan in 2023–24 before joining FC Zürich in June 2024. After a successful loan spell, Zürich made the transfer permanent in 2025, and Perea continues to operate as a mobile, hard-working forward.
