John Joe Patrick Finn Benoa

John Joe Patrick Finn Benoa is a central midfielder born in Madrid, Spain, on 24 September 2003. He developed in Madrid’s youth system before progressing through CD Canillas and Alcobendas CF, then joining Getafe’s academy in 2018. John Patrick made his Getafe first-team debut in La Liga as a teenager and later gained extensive experience with Getafe B. In January 2025, he moved to Reims and began his French career in Ligue 1. He started Reims’ Ligue 1 debut and also featured in the 2025 Coupe de France final. Eligible to represent Ireland through his heritage, Patrick played for the country’s under-19 side before making his senior debut in a goalless draw with Luxembourg in June 2025. Standing 1.92 metres tall, John Patrick operates primarily as a number eight, combining ball-carrying, second-ball work and defensive coverage while also offering positional flexibility.
