Jesse Öst
Jesse Öst is a Finnish goalkeeper who developed with hometown club FF Jaro before establishing himself in the senior game. He made his first-team breakthrough at Jaro in the early 2010s and recorded 32 appearances in 2013. In December 2015, Öst moved to Sweden to join Degerfors IF, gaining experience in the Superettan. He returned to Finland in 2018 with SJK, where he spent five seasons and developed into an experienced Veikkausliiga goalkeeper. Öst then joined HJK Helsinki in November 2022, adding a new chapter at one of Finland’s leading clubs. During the 2023 season, he made 15 league appearances as HJK won the Finnish championship and also featured in the club’s European campaign. Standing 191 centimetres tall, Öst brings a substantial physical presence to the position and has continued to serve as a veteran option for HJK.
