Jaziel Alberto Orozco Landeros

Jaziel Alberto Orozco Landeros is a defender from Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, who developed in the United States. He joined the Real Salt Lake academy in 2019 after gaining experience with Intercups MX, a travel team competing in international youth tournaments. Orozco made his USL Championship debut for Real Monarchs at 16 and was named the club’s Defender of the Year in 2022, when he also wore the captain’s armband. That year, he signed an MLS Homegrown contract and made his senior debut for Real Salt Lake against Sporting Kansas City. In 2023, Orozco moved on loan to Santos Laguna before joining Northern Irish club Larne, helping the team win the NIFL Premiership and County Antrim Shield. His experience has included central defense and full-back roles, reflecting a capacity to contribute across the back line. Orozco is now listed with St. Louis City, continuing a career shaped by early responsibility, cross-border development and overseas experience.
