Joel Mugisha Mvuka
Joel Mugisha Mvuka is a Norwegian midfielder born in Bergen on 12 November 2002. He developed in the youth system at Åsane before moving to Bodø/Glimt in summer 2021, where his pace, dribbling and work without the ball suited the club’s high-intensity football. In the 2022 Eliteserien campaign, Mvuka made 25 appearances, scoring twice and supplying six assists. His performances earned him a January 2023 transfer to French club Lorient, adding a Ligue 1 stage to his progression. Mvuka later spent the second half of the 2023–24 season on loan at Swiss club BSC Young Boys, gaining experience in a title-winning environment. Used mainly from the right while able to drift inside or operate on the left, he has also been involved with Norway Under-21s.
