Juan Agustín Musso
Juan Agustín Musso is an Argentine goalkeeper born on 6 May 1994 in San Nicolás de los Arroyos. He developed at Club de Regatas San Nicolás and Defensores de Belgrano before joining Racing Club’s academy in 2012. Musso was third choice when Racing won the 2014 Argentine Primera División title, then made his professional debut in May 2017 against San Lorenzo. During the 2017–18 season, he became Racing’s first-choice goalkeeper, making 23 league appearances. He moved to Udinese in 2018 and made 102 Serie A appearances over three seasons, recording a league-leading 14 clean sheets in 2019–20. Atalanta signed Musso in 2021, and he started their 2024 Europa League final victory over Bayer Leverkusen. He debuted for Argentina in March 2019 and was included in squads that won the 2021 Copa América and 2022 Finalissima. In 2024, Musso joined Atlético de Madrid, where his aerial command, shot-stopping and willingness to sweep behind the defence have remained key features.
