Jacob Kai Murphy

Jacob Kai Murphy attacks space on the right flank, sprinting beyond lines to feed crosses. From a fringe Newcastle starter, Murphy became a core attacking outlet under Eddie Howe. He thrives in high-press tempo. Murphy joined Newcastle in 2017 after a breakout season at Norwich. In the 2024/25 campaign, Murphy delivered 23 goals and assists, cementing his partnership with Isak. The EFL Cup trophy in 2025 saw Murphy start and assist the winner against Arsenal. As a traditional right winger, Murphy attacks space, runs beyond the line, and provides width. Murphy finishes moves when opportunities arise.
