Jordan Perry Morris
Jordan Perry Morris is a left-footed forward for Seattle Sounders, joining as a Homegrown Player in 2016. Born in Seattle, he developed with Eastside FC before starring for Stanford, where he scored twice in the 2015 NCAA Championship final and won the MAC Hermann Trophy. Morris made a U.S. national-team breakthrough while still in college and scored his international debut goal against Mexico in 2015. In his first Sounders season, he scored 12 goals, won MLS Rookie of the Year and helped Seattle claim its first MLS Cup. After a right-knee ACL tear ruled him out of 2018, he returned to win MLS Comeback Player of the Year and a second MLS Cup in 2019. A 2021 loan to Swansea City ended prematurely after a left-knee ACL injury. Back in Seattle, Morris has moved between winger and central-forward roles, becoming the Sounders’ all-time leading scorer in 2025.
