Jan Mlakar

Jan Mlakar attacks space and drifts into the channels as a centre-forward, timing runs to slip beyond centre-backs. Mlakar rose through NK Maribor 2018–2021 before a high-profile move to Brighton with loan spells shaping his development. He pushes high and presses forward. His turning point arrived at Hajduk Split, where Mlakar won the Croatian Cup and became a fan favourite. Mlakar made his Slovenia debut in 2021 and soon hit his first international goal. On loan to Amiens SC from Pisa, Mlakar continues to attack space and finish moves. Mlakar finishes moves quickly when space opens.
