Josip Mišić

Josip Mišić is a Croatian midfielder born in Vinkovci on 28 June 1994. He developed with Zrinski Bošnjaci before joining NK Osijek’s academy in 2005, and made his senior debut during a 2012 Europa League qualifier. After seven years with Osijek, Mišić moved to HNK Rijeka in December 2014, with a loan spell at Italian club Spezia included in his development. He became an important part of Rijeka’s 2016–17 campaign, helping the club win the Croatian league and cup double. In January 2018, he transferred to Sporting CP and later rebuilt his career in Greece, joining PAOK on loan in 2019 before making the move permanent. Mišić joined Dinamo Zagreb in 2020 and has since operated as a central or defensive midfielder, helping build play and control the tempo. He won two senior caps for Croatia in 2017.
