Jack Ryan McGlynn
Jack Ryan McGlynn is an American midfielder born in Middle Village, New York. He began his formal development with BW Gottschee before joining the Philadelphia Union Academy in 2019. McGlynn signed with Philadelphia Union II in 2020, then progressed to the Union’s first team in 2021. A left-footed central midfielder, he is known for progressive passing, long-range distribution and set-piece delivery. In 2024, he recorded 30 appearances, four goals and seven assists for Philadelphia Union. He was traded to Houston Dynamo in February 2025, continuing his club career in Major League Soccer. Internationally, McGlynn represented the United States at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2024 Paris Olympics.
