Jordan John McEneff

Jordan John McEneff is a central midfielder from Derry, Northern Ireland. He developed with Don Boscos and Maiden City Academy before joining Arsenal’s academy after a 2016 trial, progressing through Hale End and London Colney. At Arsenal, McEneff built a reputation for energetic dribbling and attacking movement, but two lower-back fractures disrupted his development and kept him out for about 14 months. He moved to Shelbourne on loan in February 2022, gaining senior experience despite a knee injury. In August that year, he joined hometown club Derry City permanently. McEneff scored a stoppage-time penalty in Derry’s 4-0 2022 FAI Cup final win over Shelbourne and later scored eight goals in the 2023 season, while also being named February’s Player of the Month. He transferred to Larne in August 2024 and remains part of the club’s midfield.
