Jason McClelland

Jason McClelland is an Irish football attacker who developed through Dublin youth football before joining University College Dublin in 2015. At UCD, he operated primarily as a left winger and became a significant attacking contributor. In 2018, McClelland scored 10 goals in 32 appearances as UCD secured promotion to the Premier Division. That campaign also included his first hat-trick against Wexford in May and a place in the FAI Cup semi-final side facing Dundalk. On 1 January 2020, he moved to St Patrick's Athletic, where his role broadened from No. 11 duties to occasional left-back and attacking-wingback assignments. McClelland won the FAI Cup with St Patrick's in 2021 and has also collected Leinster Senior Cup honours. He remains linked with St Patrick's Athletic, bringing his wide attacking experience to a team in which he has developed into a versatile left-flank player.
