Joël Mawungu

Joël Mawungu attacks space, making runs beyond the line to threaten the channel. Mawungu developed through Iris Club Lambersart and US Boulogne before moving to Olympique Marcquois in 2022. He signed a fresh deal. In 2025 Mawungu extended his contract to 2026, stabilising his role as a mobile forward. He has appeared in Coupe de France against Troyes, earning a solid 7.0 rating in a 3–1 defeat. Mawungu links play between midfield and attack with one-touch layoffs and sharp through runs. The 1.73m forward relies on a low centre of gravity to press high and threaten the back line. As a Congo-born attacker with dual French citizenship, Mawungu creates separation and finishes moves when space opens.
