Joël Yves Mall

Joël Yves Mall is a Swiss-born goalkeeper, born in Baden on 5 April 1991, who stands 1.97 metres tall. He developed at FC Aarau and progressed into their senior side, establishing himself in Swiss football before moving to Grasshoppers in 2015. A subsequent spell with SV Darmstadt 98 in Germany was interrupted after he suffered a shoulder injury following his debut. Mall moved to Cyprus in 2018, later representing Pafos FC, Apollon Limassol, AEK Larnaca and Olympiakos Nicosia. His Cypriot citizenship opened the way to international football, and he debuted for Cyprus against Georgia in June 2023 after youth involvement with Switzerland. Returning to Switzerland, Mall joined Servette FC in 2023 and impressed during a Champions League qualifying shootout against Genk. He is now listed with BSC Young Boys, adding further experience to a career spanning Swiss and Cypriot football.
