Julien Maggiotti

Julien Maggiotti is a French midfielder whose rise began outside the professional academy system at Gallia Lucciana in Corsica. After combining football with work as an ironworker, he committed more fully to the sport and continued his development. Maggiotti moved to SO Cholet for the 2020–21 season, making his mark in the Championnat National. In June 2021, he joined Laval, where his performances helped the club win the 2021–22 Championnat National title and secure promotion to Ligue 2. He was also voted Laval’s Player of the Season. Maggiotti joined Bastia in 2023, fulfilling a connection with his native Corsica, before returning to Laval in 2025. At 1.86 metres, Maggiotti offers a tall midfield presence and is described as a progressive passer and chance creator.
