Jean Louchet
Jean Louchet is a French goalkeeper born in Beauvais on 3 December 1996. He developed in northern France before joining the Paris Saint-Germain academy in 2014, where he made senior appearances for the reserve side during the 2015–16 season. After a spell with Reims’ reserve team, Louchet joined Les Herbiers in 2017 and later became their regular goalkeeper after the club’s relegation. He was part of the Les Herbiers squad that reached the 2018 Coupe de France final, although he served as a reserve during that run. In July 2021, Niort gave him his first professional contract, and he subsequently made his Ligue 2 debut for the club. Louchet moved to Valenciennes as a free agent in July 2023 and emerged as an important player during the 2023–24 campaign. Against Rouen in the Coupe de France quarter-finals, he saved two penalties in the shootout that sent Valenciennes into the semi-finals.
