Jordi Baininwa Liongola

Jordi Baininwa Liongola is a Burundian midfielder born on 17 May 2000. He developed in Belgium, spending formative years in the youth systems of Standard Liège and Royal Antwerp. Liongola began his senior career with Lierse Kempenzonen, making his professional debut in 2021. He moved to RAAL La Louvière in July 2022, continuing his progression in Belgian football. At RAAL, he has operated primarily from the right, combining midfield duties with wing-back work when required. His responsibilities include supplying crosses and key passes, supporting attacks from wide areas, and contributing defensively through tracking and duels. Internationally, Jordi represented Belgium at under-16 level before committing to Burundi, receiving his first senior call-up in 2019 and debuting against Liberia in March 2022. His career therefore spans Belgian academy football, senior competition with Lierse and La Louvière, and involvement on Burundi’s international stage.
