Jiří Letáček

Jiří Letáček is a Czech goalkeeper born in Pardubice on 9 January 1999. He developed through the youth system at hometown club Pardubice and moved into senior football in 2018, initially gaining experience in the Czech second tier. After Pardubice's promotion to the Czech First League, Letáček made his top-flight debut against Opava on 13 March 2021. He also represented the Czech Republic at under-16, under-17, under-18 and under-21 levels. During the 2022–23 season, he joined Baník Ostrava on loan before the move was made permanent, establishing himself in Czech football. In 2023–24, he recorded nine clean sheets and was ranked the league's third-best goalkeeper. Letáček moved to Getafe in July 2024, beginning a new stage in Spain after building his reputation through his height, reach and goalkeeping work.
