Johann Théo Tom Lepenant

Johann Théo Tom Lepenant is a French midfielder from Granville, born on 22 October 2002. He began playing with US Granville in 2009 and joined SM Caen’s academy in 2017, progressing into senior football. Lepenant made his Ligue 2 debut for Caen in September 2020 and became a regular during the 2021–22 campaign. In June 2022, he moved to Olympique Lyonnais, stepping up to Ligue 1 and competing for a place in a demanding midfield. After his Lyon spell, Lepenant joined Nantes, where he continued to develop in a central role. He can operate as a holding midfielder or No. 8, helping shield the defence, recover possession and connect play through midfield. Lepenant has also represented France at youth level and is listed with the France U23 squad, adding international experience to his club career.
