Jonjoe Kenny

Jonjoe Kenny is an English right-back from Liverpool who developed at Everton’s academy after joining at nine. He made his senior Everton debut in 2016 and was named the club’s Young Player of the Year for 2017/18. A loan to Schalke 04 in 2019/20 brought regular Bundesliga football, and he was named Bundesliga Rookie of the Month for August. After a spell with Celtic and a final season back at Everton, Kenny moved to Hertha BSC in 2022. He later continued his career with PAOK, where he has operated primarily on the right side of defence. At youth international level, Kenny converted the winning penalty in England’s 2014 UEFA Under-17 European Championship final and started every match of the 2017 FIFA Under-20 World Cup triumph. Jonjoe Kenny has also covered left-back, combining positional discipline, recovery work and diagonal passing with the stamina to support overlaps.
