Jardell Kanga

Jardell Kanga is a Swedish midfielder, born on 13 December 2005. He developed at IF Brommapojkarna, where he became the club’s youngest debutant and goalscorer in 2021. Kanga also contributed five goals and one assist in 23 appearances during Brommapojkarna’s promotion campaign to the Superettan. His performances led to trials with Barcelona, Brighton and Feyenoord before he joined Bayer Leverkusen in January 2022, later featuring for the club’s under-19 side. In 2024, he moved on loan to Dutch side De Graafschap and subsequently returned to Sweden with Hammarby, spending time with Hammarby TFF. Kanga then continued his senior development in Finland with Ilves. At Ilves, the left-footed midfielder has been used as an attacking player, where close control, dribbling and forward passing support his creative game.
