Jonn Johannessen

Jonn Johannessen is a Faroese forward who represents KI Klaksvik. He developed within KI’s youth system and entered the senior setup in January 2019. In 2018, he scored five goals in 13 appearances for the club’s second team. Johannessen made his early senior breakthrough as an attacking player, recording eight goals in 31 appearances in 2019 and 10 in 29 matches in 2020. He later remained part of KI sides that collected domestic honours, while his league totals were four goals in 2021 and five in 2022. Johannessen has also featured in KI’s campaigns in UEFA club competitions, including Champions League, Europa League and Conference League qualifying. At international level, he represented the Faroe Islands under-21 team, earning 14 caps and scoring three goals.
