Jemali-Giorgi Jinjolava

Jemali-Giorgi Jinjolava is a Georgian left-back born in Tbilisi on 28 June 2000. He developed in the Saburtalo academy and progressed through Georgia’s under-17, under-18 and under-19 teams, making youth international appearances in UEFA qualification. Jinjolava joined Saburtalo’s senior setup and was part of the side that won the Erovnuli Liga in 2018 and the David Kipiani Cup in 2019. He later gained overseas experience with Cádiz CF B in Spain and FC ViOn Zlaté Moravce in Slovakia. Those spells broadened his experience before he returned to Saburtalo. He also represented Georgia at under-21 level during the 2023 European Championship. Primarily a left-back, Jinjolava has been used in wider defensive roles and remains part of Saburtalo’s current squad.
