Junya Ito

Junya Ito attacks space down the right, pulling defenders and delivering dangerous crosses. Junya Ito began at Kashiwa Reysol, earned his first Japan cap in 2017, and represented Japan at the 2022 World Cup, while winning the J-League Outstanding Player Award. He then joined Genk on loan. Ito helped Genk win the Belgian Pro League in 2018–19. A turning point arrived when Ito returned to Genk in 2025. As a traditional Right Winger, Ito hugs the touchline and attacks the back post. His off-the-ball movement stretches defenses and he checks short then spins in behind. Ito's pace and delivery keeps Genk pressing high and he gets shots off quickly.
