Joachim Imbrechts

Joachim Imbrechts is a Belgian goalkeeper born in Marcq-en-Barœul on 9 October 2001. He developed in the youth systems of RFC Meux and UR Namur before joining Charleroi’s academy in 2015. In July 2021, Imbrechts moved to Union Saint-Gilloise, where he served primarily as a deputy while remaining part of the club’s senior setup. He made his professional debut on 1 October 2023 against Charleroi, his former club. Imbrechts was involved in Union’s 2023–24 Belgian Cup campaign and belonged to squads that experienced UEFA Champions League and Europa League football. In July 2025, he joined Anderlecht and was assigned to RSCA Futures in the Challenger Pro League. At 196 centimetres, Imbrechts brings goalkeeping experience to a developmental side, continuing a career shaped by academy progression, senior competition and patient pursuit of regular playing time.
