Jay Idzes

Jay Idzes is a right-footed central midfielder from Mierlo, the Netherlands, born on 2 June 2000. He began at Mifano and joined PSV Eindhoven’s academy at nine, later spending two years with VVV-Venlo after leaving PSV. Idzes made his senior breakthrough with FC Eindhoven before joining Go Ahead Eagles in 2020. At Go Ahead Eagles, he developed through regular football and helped the club win promotion to the Eredivisie in 2021. In 2023, Idzes moved to Venezia, where he contributed to the club’s promotion to Serie A through the 2024 play-offs. He then joined Sassuolo, adding Italian top-flight experience to a career shaped by progression through the Dutch and Italian systems. Internationally, Idzes has been involved with Indonesia, extending his profile beyond club football.
