Jackson Paul Lee Hopkins

Jackson Paul Lee Hopkins is an American midfielder from Fredericksburg, Virginia, born on July 1, 2004. He began playing in local youth football before developing with Arlington Soccer Association and Virginia Development Academy. Hopkins joined the D.C. United Academy at 14 and briefly spent time with the New York Red Bulls academy in 2021 before returning to Washington. He debuted for Loudoun United, D.C. United's USL affiliate, at 17 in July 2021. On April 13, 2022, Hopkins signed as D.C. United's 18th Homegrown Player. Initially used as a forward or attacking midfielder, he has developed into a versatile central midfielder who recycles possession, links attacks and contributes defensive work. In 2025, Hopkins scored three goals and captained D.C. United against Inter Miami on August 23, reflecting his growing role within the first team.
