Josué Homawoo

Josué Homawoo is a Togolese defender born in Lomé on 12 November 1997. Standing 1.91 metres, he developed in France before joining the Nantes academy in 2015. Homawoo signed his first professional contract with Nantes in 2017 and made his Ligue 1 debut in February 2020, appearing in a 3–3 draw with Dijon. He later moved through reserve football and joined Red Star FC 93 in 2021, where he gained regular experience in France’s Championnat National. In July 2023, Homawoo continued his career with Dinamo București, establishing himself in Romania’s top flight. He moved to Standard Liège on a free transfer in July 2025 and became part of the Belgian club’s defensive options. Homawoo also represents Togo, contributing his European experience to the national team.
