Jan Hoekstra
Jan Hoekstra is a Dutch footballer born on 4 August 1998 in Eexterveen. He entered FC Groningen’s academy in 2010 and progressed to Jong Groningen, making 49 appearances for the reserve side from 2017. Hoekstra signed his first professional contract with Groningen in 2018 and later joined Roda JC Kerkrade on loan for the 2020–21 season, making his professional debut in a 4–0 win over Jong Ajax. He was also called up to the Netherlands Under-20 and Under-21 squads during his development. In early 2023, he moved to PEC Zwolle on loan before joining FC Emmen permanently later that year on a three-year deal. Hoekstra moved to Girondins de Bordeaux in July 2025, continuing his career in France. He is listed at 2.00 metres, with Bordeaux recorded as his current club.
