Jonathan Gradit

Jonathan Gradit is a French defender born in Talence on 24 November 1992. He developed in the Bordeaux academy and began his senior career outside the top flight before joining Tours in 2013. Gradit made his professional debut for Tours in March 2014 and spent five seasons establishing himself in Ligue 2. In 2018, he moved to Caen, where he made his Ligue 1 debut and continued his progression as a central defender. He joined Lens in August 2019 and became an important part of the side that rose from Ligue 2 to the Champions League places. At Lens, Jonathan Gradit has operated mainly as a right-sided centre-back in a back three, combining proactive interceptions, recovery defending and composed passing, while also offering versatility at right-back.
